About Me


Hi, I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford Graduate School of Business. I received my PhD in Management from Columbia Business School.

My research interests lie in the area of entrepreneurship, discrimination, and labor markets. My dissertation examines: Entrepreneurship as a way to overcome labor market discrimination, focusing on formerly incarcerated individuals in the United States.

My dissertation was recognized with the 2021 William H. Newman Best Dissertation Paper Award from the Academy of Management and the 2018 Kauffman Knowledge Challenge Grant.

I was born in London and attended schools in New York, Washington DC, Seoul, and Riyadh. I like to travel and spend time with my family & friends.
